Oxford

I like living in Oxford because it has a great environment. There are 38 colleges in Oxford. The colleges are beautiful and have great architecture. You can explore the colleges at certain times. When I grow up, I want to go to St. Johns College because I like it and it's the richest college in Oxford.

I like to go shopping in Oxford because there is so much to shop for like clothes, ties, shoes, and even books. There is one shop we don't have in Oxford it's called the Tie Rack. I really like this shop because I like ties.

I like to take the bus to city centre. On our road we have a red bus and a green bus that takes us there. We take the red bus, and I like to get top front seat because I can see where I am going.

Milton Keynes

me by the formula car

me by the Rolls Royce

me by a Morgan

this is the fast Morgan I like
Milton Keynes is located North East of Oxford. We went there to see the largest mall in the U.K. In the mall we saw a car show of all kinds of cars like Morgans Rolls Royce and even a formula car. The formula car was a simulator. I liked one of the Morgans the best because it went really fast. The Tie Rack is supposed to have a lot  of ties but what they really had were hats, gloves, and scarves. I was a little disappointed about that because I wanted to buy a tie on sale. The lego shop was cool because they had all kinds of legos. The police legos were my favorite because their were boats, cars, and trucks. There is a pick and mix like you mix candy but its the same shape of legos.

Paris and Kenilworth Castle

The Eiffel Tower is 1,063 ft. tall. Is that cool or what? There is a very good view from the second floor. You can see most of Paris. It's huge. I liked the gift shop. I bought the beret I wanted. The elevator was packed liked sardines on the way down the tower.

The Arc De Triomphe was right by our hotel. We could walk to it. The Arc De Triomphe is 164 ft. tall. We saw the tomb of the unknown soldier.

On Christmas day we went to Notre Dame in Paris. We heard the organ play. It was awesome. The altar was cool.  The stained glass windows were amazing. My dad let me get a coin of the church. We went to a restaurant by Notre Dame and got some chocolate mousse. It was very sweet.

The bus tour was cool. I liked the backseat. You can see almost everything like the Eiffel Tower, Notre Dame, and the Arc De Triomphe. The Eurostar was fast; almost 200mph. When we went back home, we got premier seats (like first class) on the train. We also ate yummy food.

Kenilworth Castle is in the West Midlands. Some are castle ruins. There is a cool view of the country. There is a stable where we had tea. Horses back then use to stay there. The Leicester House has cool artifacts dating back from the 1570s . The gardens are pretty in the summer.

Ashmolean

Saturday we went to the Ashmolean. I got to see Guy Fawkes lantern. It was awesome and I got to hold real old coins and a golden one. The oldest coin was from India before Christ. The newest coin was real gold and it had Queen Victora on it. They had some crafts you could make about Egyptians. I made a face mask and a coffin.
